Issue with mouse tracking light

I was playing a game and hold the scroll button and then my mouse light turn off and I try changing port and go to control panel. I contact my friend who works at geek squad phone number, he suggested to uninstall the mouse driver from the device manager. After uninstalling the optical driver I restarted my laptop. And voila the issue was resolved. For such issues you can try restarting your laptop or desktop and if that doesn't work you try uninstalling or updating the driver.
